This is a solidly made fish slice. There is just the right amount of flex for picking up flat items. The handle is comfortable for people with bigger hands.
However, for those with small kitchens here's a warning: the point of balance is set to towards the edge. This means it has a tendency to spring. and to prevent that flipping (and food going everywhere), you have to grip the handle lower than the designers intended and use a little more force than is necessary. If you have a small pan and are sautéing or frying rice, be careful!
If the slotted section was just a little bit smaller, I think the balance would be excellent.
