The Kikuzuki Kuro Yanagiba 270mm is a stunning example of traditional Japanese craftsmanship. Forged by master blacksmith Yoshikazu Tanaka-san in Sakai, this yanagiba is designed for precise slicing of fish and delicate ingredients with unmatched control.

Made with a Shirogami 2 core wrapped in soft iron cladding, it delivers an exceptionally sharp edge that holds well and sharpens easily. The blackened kuro finish not only looks striking but also adds a layer of protection and character that deepens with use.

The long, slender blade shape is perfect for clean, single-stroke cuts, making it an ideal choice for sashimi and slicing. Balanced with a dark oak octagonal handle for comfortable grip and excellent control.
