King Deluxe Whetstone #1000 Normal

The King Deluxe 1000 is a classic, and for good reason. It’s one of the most popular medium grit stones out there. Affordable, consistent, and easy to work with. If you’re just getting into sharpening or looking for a reliable 1000 grit stone for day-to-day maintenance, this one does the job well.

It cuts a bit slower than some of the faster 1000s like the Arashiyama, but gives you great control and feedback. Ideal for high carbon steels, but works just fine on stainless too. Definitely soak this one, about 10 to 15 minutes before use, and give it a splash of water now and then while you work.
